We all have minor chores to do around the house to maintain the daily and weekly upkeep; sometimes I dread those chores and am thankful I have a crew of five to help out! In the midst of the daily upkeep, have you thought about those checklist items that will keep you from having major costly repairs done to your home?  Just a couple extra minutes in your day to check on these items for June, can potentially save you thousands of dollars in the future.  If you’re not sure how to check these items, contact your local handyman to show you how to complete these tasks.  The cost of a service call is far better than the cost of replacing an entire home and its contents.

Here are your checklist items for June:

• Tighten loose screws and nails on porches and fences.
• Test and adjust gates.
• Clean and seal fence and porch area.
• Fill up all sinks and drain. Check for leaks.
• Change air filters.
• Clean dryer vent tube/line.
